Congratulations to all our racers in the 2025 HCRA State Championships, managing to score over 100 pts in the AA Division with 12 crews entered walking away with the 3rd Place trophy, 4 medal count, 2 golds in Sophomore men (scoring fastest 1/2 mile race in 3:26) amd Open 4 men, bronze in Sr Men and Master 40 men amd most crews topping top 10! Good effort congratulations!!!

Can’t be more proud of these fine men who trained all year and put in the work to cross the channel representing Wailea canoe club along with representing the island of Maui. Here we have some shots of Wailea Ho’olehua, Wailea Elua, and Maui masters. Mahalo to everyone who supported these guys all season long your love and support helps them every inch of the way. Training involvs not just paddling but knowing when to leave the escort boat, how to position yourself in the water, when to grab on, when to exit, how to exit, when to zip, and the list goes on… Even down to safety from where the escort boat positions, how the move ahead, when to make the change, how to pick up the paddlers ..
